Choosing a kart without asking the rider
The size question is the hard part of a surprise. Measure the child against a door frame on some other pretext, then check the height against BERG's ranges: 100 to 130 cm for the Buddy, 110 to 150 cm for the Rally, 125 to 190 cm for the XL. If brothers, sisters or parents will want a go on Stephen's Day, size for the household, not just the child whose name is on the tag. The age guide works through every year.

Can I put a Buddy B.Orange in the Christmas Club?+
The Christmas Club terms cover orders of €300 or more. The Buddy B.Orange is €299 on its own, just under that, so ring us about it. The Buddy Lua qualifies.
Who can enter the go-kart draw?+
Residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland aged 18 or over. Entries close at 11:59pm on Thursday 5 November 2026. The full terms are on the shop.
Should I assemble the kart before Christmas morning?+
Yes. The kart arrives boxed for home assembly, with BERG's manual. Do it a few days before Christmas Day if you can, rather than late on Christmas Eve, and check the tyres are pumped.
Where can I hide a go-kart?+
The box is large, especially for the XL. A shed, a garage, the boot of a car or a neighbour's house work. Deliveries need someone at home to sign, so time the delivery for when the children are out.
Which kart for Christmas?
Tell us who it is for, their age and roughly how tall they are. We will name the kart we would choose and confirm it can be with you before Christmas.
