BERG go-kart warranty, returns and spare parts

What happens if a kart is the wrong size, arrives damaged or develops a fault, and how to keep it going for years. Go Karts Ireland is run by Trampolines Ireland, an official BERG Premium Dealer, and the terms below are the shop's.

    Warranty

Karts carry BERG's manufacturer warranty. BERG's published figures for go-karts vary between its websites and its manuals, so we do not print one here. Ask us and we will confirm BERG's current terms for the kart you are buying.

    • Register the kart with BERG after delivery. BERG's manuals tie the frame guarantee to registration.
    • Keep the order email. It is your proof of purchase.
    • Wear parts are excluded. BERG's manual names chains and tyres.

    Returns

You have 14 days to return a kart. For a change of mind, which includes guessing the wrong size, you pay the return delivery. If a kart arrives faulty, damaged or is the wrong item, we cover the cost.

A phone call about size before ordering usually avoids a return. The full terms are in the shop's returns, cancellations and refunds policy.

    Damage on delivery

Someone needs to be at home to take delivery. Look the box over before signing for it. If it is damaged, write that on the docket, take photos, and tell us within 48 hours.

    Spare parts

We keep genuine BERG spare parts. Email trampolines@esi-ltd.ie with the kart's name, the part you need and a photo, or ring 01 960 1641, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.

Keeping a kart in good order

    Tyres

Pneumatic tyres lose pressure over time, and more so over a winter of standing. Check them before riding and pump them to the pressure in BERG's manual.

    Chain and hub

Keep the chain clean and lightly oiled. If the brake feels weak or reverse will not engage, stop using the kart and get in touch. The BFR guide explains how the hub should behave.

    Storage

A steel frame and a chain last longest under cover. A shed, a garage or a car port is better than the back of the garden, especially through an Irish winter.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the warranty on a BERG go-kart?+

The warranty is BERG's, as the manufacturer, and BERG's published figures differ between its countries and its manuals. Rather than print a number that may be out of date, we confirm BERG's current terms for your kart when you ask. Register the kart with BERG after delivery, because BERG ties its frame guarantee to registration.

What does the warranty not cover?+

BERG's manual says parts that wear with use, such as chains and tyres, are excluded from warranty. Ask us about anything else before you assume it is or is not covered.

    Can I return a kart?+

Yes, within 14 days. For a change of mind, which includes guessing the wrong size, you pay the return delivery. If the kart arrives faulty, damaged or is the wrong item, we cover the cost.

The box arrived damaged. What do I do?+

Write the damage on the delivery docket before you sign, take photos, and tell us within 48 hours.

Do you sell BERG spare parts?+

Yes. We keep genuine BERG spare parts. Tell us the kart and the part, with a photo if you can, and we will find it.

    Something wrong with your kart?

Tell us the kart, what has happened and, if you can, send a photo. We will tell you what happens next.
